NATIONAL FREEDOM GROUP SCAMMED ME OUT OF $2000.00....PLEASE STAY AWAY F/THIS COMPANY!!! Irvine, California

NATIONAL FREEDOM GROUP IS ONE OF THE WORST BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!!!!  They prey on people desperate to save their homes.  They ARE NOT what they seem & they do NOT have the homeowners best interest at heart.  For of you who don't know...it is ILLEGAL to ask for upfront fees for a loan modification & that's what NFG does.  They do NOT contact your mortgage company, as they state, and actually they are not allowed to even talk to anyone at your mortgage company without a signed consent form from you (the homeowner).  They do NOT help to modify your loan and they do NOT return phone calls once they have received your money!!!!  The only thing they DO is lie and take your money & "run"

Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357. (Per the rep at FTC, the more people who call and who file complaints with the FTC and on sites like this one, the more chances we have to prosecute predatory companies like NFG.  Also, when talking  with the FTC, ask them for your the Attorney General's number for you state.

As much as I hate to see people taken advantage of, I can only hope that those of you that have had this happened, will ban together and file as many complaints as possible.  We may never see our money again but at least we can have the satisfaction of knowing we were part in shutting this "so called" company down & hopefully see all who were involved with NFG in jail for fraud!!
