Three years ago, we signed up for an online loan.  A company named National platinum tried to get us to sign up for a deal in which we would get products at massive discounts, out of their catologue.  They enticed us with almost 80% off of things like computers, etc.  We finished up the load application, then signed up for $19.99 for a membership with National Platinum.  They removed an unauth'd $99.95 out of our account twice.  We closed the account after we had talked to our bank, Wells Fargo, who told us it was our only option.  We then attempted to call National Platinum Costumer Service.  The Operators *supposedly* cancelled all acounts, and when we tried to talk to them about the removal of money out of our account without our permission, they were rude, nasty, and would not let us discuss this matter with any one of the management team at their location.  They also hung up on us numerous times.

Three Years Later:  They're on us again.  I'm not sure how these people got our phone numbers again, but they are now calling my wife at work, even after we told them to stop harrassing us, posing as law enforcement, and threatening jail time if we do not make arrangements to pay immediately.  They reference the bank the account was open on, and say they collect for them, that they are attorneys representing wells fargo, and that a lieutenant from our police force will be coming to arrest her at work.  I can't believe these people get away with this stuff, or haven't been shut down by now!!
