Nationwide Home Warranty having trouble with company doing thier job. will not honor home warranty as specified New York, new york

started with nationwide home warranty in july, had trouble with one of my toilets but since i had just started they would not fix it (they have a rule that u have to be with them a month before they fix anything) ok, i understand that so i went ahead and fixed it myself.

when hurrican ike hit houston my air condition broke, nationwide sent a contractor over and looked at it. he said that nationwide would not fix it cause it needed stuff done to it before they would even pay for any repairs to it. so i got it done.

now my heater won't work and nationwide said they will not repair it, cause we did not get the work done from before. i notified them that i did get the work done. so they said that they needed to see the invoice and review it before they can even give me an answer of whether they will fix my heater or not. it has been two weeks now i have been calling for an answer
to this day no one has reviewed it, or can tell me when an answer will be forth coming. all i get is keep calling back maybe tomorrow they will have an answer for me. i don't understand how a company can do something like this, in the mean time my house is very cold.

we have had several freezing cold front in houston and it has even snowed.
