Nationwide Home Warranty Scam- Watch out with choosing this company Internet

Recently I had purchased a home that came with a home warranty that we got from Nationwide and we pick the coverage and paid the price of about 500.00. My wife and I have 2 young daughters and in December our heat pump went out so we called Nationwide because this was included in our coverage, so we thought and so it said online. They did send some out to look at our system and we had to pay this company 60.00 that day. The HVAC guy put in writting that this was just one of the things that happen with units, the motors get old and die. With this information sent to Nationwide from someone they sent out they then told us that we have to submit the last two years maintenance records. Well most people know that it is hard to get records that are in the previous owners name, but we did. After two months and no response, I called them and they claimed to have lost the records even after repeated phone calls that said the claim was still under review. I didn't have this time to wait as my family had no heat! I had someone else come look at the uinit and quoted a cheaper price by over 100.00 than Nationwides contractors so I went on my own and got my heat fixed from the cheaper guy. I submitted all the paperwork and the bill again and called everyday talking to the same person that said she never talked to me the previous day!?! Within three days this time they told me the case was closed, no communication, I had to call them for everything. Anyway the case was closed because the records provided were not what they wanted and that is all they would say. I asked what else I could do and they said well I would just forget about it. I was not allowed to talk to a manager or anything. I said well I will just resubmitt, the lady said it won't do any good because the claim is closed and won't be opened up again. I was and still am pissed about this because I feel helpless. If anyone out there knows what else I can do please feel free to post a comment. I hope someone reads this and decides to get another home warranty company. Do not trust this compny they will never pay the claims, read the other reviews!!!!
