I took a loan out in 2009 for school. Well that fell through. I have been trying to pay it off but with no job it is hard to pay. Then out of the blue this NCA agent calls me says his name is Ben and to call him back at what looks like personal number. When I called and talked to him I told him that I was under the assumption that I could pay when I got a job that had at least 30 hrs a week. he told me that this was a personal student loan. as the conversation went on he would go back and forth with student loan and personal loan. he even tried to get me to get my family members to pay with a credit card or personal loan from them. I don’t know what to do and even if this is legal because I never got letter before the call.
