Glencara.com Glencara Irish Jewelry, I paid a lot of money for something that resembled costume jewellery without official Hallmark Galway Galway

I bought a Claddagh ring from Glencara, after they changed date of delivery by over two weeks, I cancelled however Glencara were eager to hang onto my money, making all sorts of excuses. I received the ring, looked like a piece of costume jewellery. Noticed there was no hallmark, only a very badly stamped 925 number on the inside. I called the Assay office in Dublin, they told me that selling precious metal jewellery in Ireland without proper hallmarking was not legal. I asked the question to Lisa on online support and she told me they don't do it because it takes a lot of time..lol, it's a legal duty. Anyway I've contacted Bridget and Harry Brady by email. They are so far keeping quiet.
