I went to new deal used cars when i was pregnant with my 2nd son and i needed a more dependable car. I have not so good credit and their sign attracted me because it says buy here pay here.
So my husband and I pulled in and started looking at the cars. Long story short we ended up wanting a 1995 plymouth neon they wanted a woping $7500.00 for it and it had 85000 miles on it. They charge a huge interest rate when u dont have so good credit 24%. They had us make payments on our down payment and during this time the interest rate was 50% so I made 3 payments of $500.00 every two weeks and then resumed to pay $300.00 every two weeks as a payment.
The car drove well for a while and then the problems started first the head gasget went out and also the alternator. We had to take it in to a repairman this cost us a total of $500.00.
Then a while after we fixed the head gasket something else went wrong with the engine. My husband was able to fix it for a cheaper price but it required him taking the whole engine apart to get to the part that needed fixing. He also worked so it took a total of 3 months of the car sittin in the driveway not runnung. So i was unable to go to work.
When he finally got the engine back together the timeing belt needed adjustment. Then the car ran for a while again. Then more problems came the same thing happened to the engine so we had to take it in to a mechanic so it wouldnt sit in the driveway for 3 months agian so we ended up paying $700.00 for that.
Again it ran for a while then the spark plugs started to break in half inside the engine one after the other which caused oil to come into the engine the car would sputter and die in the middle of busy roads and intersections can u imagine haveing 3 young kids in the car when it dies and u dont know what to do.
THESE PEOPLE SOLD US THE BIGGEST PIECE OF _______ IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS WAS I WAS ABLE TO TRADE IN A FORD TAURUS THAT WE BAUGHT FROM ANOTHER DEALER THAT WAS A LEMON ALSO. I would not recommend going to NEW DEAL USED CARS EVER THEY RIP U OFF WITH PRICES AND INTEREST RATES and most of all THE CAR DIDNT RUN LONG ENOUGH TO GET PAID OFF I ENDED UP FILING BANKRUPTCY BECAUSE OF IT. THE CAR NEVER RAN AFTER THE PROBLEMS WITH THE SPARK PLUGS IT WOULD SMOKE AND STINK THE DEALERSHIP ENDED UP COMMING AND TOWING THE CAR AWAY AFTER IT SAT ON THE GRASS NEXT TO OUR HOUSE FOR 1 YEAR AND WE DIDNT MAKE PAYMENTS.
DO NOT EVER GO TO NEW DEAL USED CARS EVER EVER EVER.

I was just curious if you went to the Better Business Bureau about this company. I am someone that will check a companies rating at the BBB's website before dealing with them. I checked New Deal Used Cars rating, and they have an A+. In the last three years, they have had one issue, and it was resolved. Also, I have heard that the BBB will help you to get your issue resolved with companies in a quick like manner. It's just a suggestion.

I loved New Deal!

After dealing with a horrible car dealership before, New Deal was a refreshing change of pace. They were friendly and easy to work with. They offer help to people with bad credit at a higher interest rate but 24% is no higher than any other high interest loans you will find. If you are purchasing a older vehicle you have to expect some problems with it. I bought a 2000 Chevy Malibu and have been very happy with it. My Car was actually a resonable price of just over $5000. I think that they are a great company to work with and have been more than willing to help me with anything. They aim to make their customers happy.
