North American Power Forced Sale Norwalk Connecticut

My mother lives in Reading, PA. She is getting older and she's been having trouble remembering when to pay her utility bills so i do them for her from my home here in Buffalo, NY. Today she calls me and tells me that there was a knock on her door and the woman identified herself as an employee for North American Power and that she was obligated to fill out the agreement she had in hand to enroll with North American Power. After researching this in her area come to find out this was a crock in order to get another sale from a woman who made it clear she didn't feel comfortable signing anything without speaking with me first. So, she was kind enough to tell my mother to fill out the paperwork and to have me call her once she spoke with me. I am beyond upset at the LIE this woman told my mother #1 and the audacity to take advantage of someone like this who clearly did not feel comfortable #2 and #3 to tell her to fill it out first THEN call me and have me call her. My mother was visibly upset after speaking with her neighbors to find out this was not an obligation and was not mandatory and she had been forced to sign something she clearly had the decision to decline. It's bad enough i have to worry about my mother getting scammed over the phone and now they come knocking at her door. I asked my mother to send me a copy of all the forms and language she was given. Let's be clear if she is charged a penny from this company i will be suing North American Power for falsly gaining a client who did not want nor need their services. Signature or not your employee should have LET my mother call me and let me speak with her if this indeed was on the up and up. That did not happen and i am obviously not happy with someone taking advantage of my mother. PERIOD!
