North Shore Agency I was sent a warning that I needed to pay an overdue fee for a subscription to Archeology Magazine. I do not owe them anything as I did not reorder from them. Last rec'd mag was 6/10. Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: One problem with these scammers
*Consumer Comment: Ignore them
This is a second time I rec'd a notice from this company for a bogus bill. I do not owe Archeology Magazine anything. This fact was confirmed by the magazine's subcription department. I used to get this magazine in 2010, but rec'd my last copy 6/10 as I did not wish to reorder.

#2 Consumer Suggestion
One problem with these scammers

Is that their phone operators seem to really believe they are working for a collection agency. I got the impression that they have even been warned that we "debtors" will try to tell them they are working for a scammer, not a collection agency. No matter. If you stay on the phone with them, they will eventually admit that you really do not owe anyone any money. Just be persistent.

Ignore them

They will eventually go away. Several years ago, I started receiving notices from this company. I consulted a friend who runs a collection agency and was advised that they prey on people who have let subscriptions expire. I just started throwing out the "collection notices" they sent me and eventually they stopped coming.
