Northern Leasing Systems Ripoff Con game with credit card merchant services providers New York New York

The experience my wife and I had with Northern Leasing is very similar to what many of the other ripoff reports have documented: no disclosure by the salesperson of the 4 year "non-cancellable" lease etc. That followed by closing the business and then being hounded by multiple phone calls each day. Then the threats of litigation, etc. etc. Low-life extortionists all, in my estimation

What I would like to find out, if any of you know, what is in this deal for the credit card processing service that sticks the business owner with Northern Leasing? There must be something in this deal for them too, since they are the onew who set it up. In our case the company was Card Payment Solutions (about whom I have just filed another ripoff report). It was their salemant who set it up and who specifically told us that there was no penalty for early cancellation.

What is interesting is that the Card Payment Solutions contract was for three years (and we did get hit with a huge cancellation penalty from them too), but the leasing contract was for four. Which means that it would be impossible to change back to another credit card service provider and new equipment without triggering the vultures over at Northern Leasing.

Has anyone out there ever gotten that far down the road and wanted to jump ship without being able to? Is this legal? Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

So I am wondering why more to the ripoff reports about Northern Leasing don't also name the merchant service provider who stuck them with Northern Leasing in the first place. Both companies have to be in this scam together. So let's expose both of them to the bright sunlight of truth.
