Northstar Financial scam credit card 199.00 St.Paul Minnesota

These people call you and want you to give them a 199.00 for an unsecured visa or mastercard, they even have you speak into a recording to verify your information (bank routing number and account number). They actually called me 2 times once on 10/30/02 and again on 11/17/02. They took 199.00 the first time and 199.99 the second time. My bank isnt helping me that much with these charges and it is a shame for being such a large well known bank.

The phone number is also a constant busy and they do not have a website as they told me they did. They said that the website was www.northstar.net. this belongs to a reputable company.

I think the way they are doing this is off of a Bankrupcty listing. I will be doing me investigating on this.
