Nutrisystem Nutrisystem....Frauds.....stay away!!! Internet, Internet

I thought I would try this program because of the big discount they offered. I was told I would get 28 days of all this delicious food and drinks for $187, which sounded great because normal price was over $300. So I got my food and started the program. The food was not that great and the portions for a man were ridiculous. Sure, you can add other foods to the program, but then what is the sense.  I had to buy extra food on top of what I already spent!!  I was more or less starving myself. So I'm half way into the program and I get a notice that my next shipment will be coming in a couple of days. I was only 2 weeks into the program. I immediately decided I did not want to do this for another month. It certainly was not healthy.

I first emailed them and told them to cancel my order. Never got a response. So I ended up calling them. I waited on the phone a good 20 minutes before their jerky customer service rep got on the phone. No wonder they won't cancel you by email..they pressure you into keeping up with the program. I don't know how many times I said no!! So he then proceeds to tell me since I'm cancelling, they have to charge me $94 to make up the difference on my first shipment. I said what about the clause "try for 30 days and you can cancel anytime." He then said it was for shipping. $94 for shipping! I don't think so. Then he was so nice to reduce my next shipment price from $289 to $259. I thought I was getting the $187 rate for all my shipments.  Read the terms and conditions very carefully. The print is small, but get a magnifying glass. They do that on purpose and make it so you don't want to read it. At any rate, stay away from Nutrisystem. They are crooks just out for your money. They could care less if you succeed.
