Oan Services - Privasafe ripoff fradulent biling Seatltle Washington
*UPDATE Employee: Not all companies will have a confirmation number.
I looked on my phone bill and discovered that this company charged me 14.95 for email service that I never signed up for I called them after talking to my telephone company.
I told them I never asked for this never signed up and they need to credit my account. They said they would so I asked them for a confirmation number so I would have proof for my phone company. The guy said they dont have confirmation numbers. Kinda suspicious. The guy from SBC said that each cust. REp there gets at least 3 calls a day regarding this. Thats scarey. Who are these people and why are they in buisness.

Not all companies will have a confirmation number.

The system that is used doesnt created a #confirmation number. You can ask for the operators name and id and what cll center they are at. Local phone companies have bill agreements with the billing companies who bill on behalf of these companies that are ripping people off. The reasons they give us in our scripts seem resonable and not until you have been there for a while do you begin to realilze what is really going on and most reps dont last long to even know. People ask us everyday "Dont you check out these comnpanies that you bill for?" I doubt I could get a straight answer from the supervisors or not. I mean how wld they answer that. If you ask me, why cant the FCC have stricter regulations so that these companies that are creating fraudulent bills can no longer be in business?? then they wldnt need billing companies like the ones I work for OAN, HBS, USBI, ZPDI, ESBI... the pays not that great anyway
