Oasis Travel Club RipoffNot What They Claim To Be! Deltona Florida

On July 21 Oasis Travel Club called to tell me I had won a second place prize in an online contest. I was suspicious right away and asked what the catch was, I asked if they were a timeshare and she said no, I asked how I won this prize and she said she didn't know they were just the company that gave them out. Don't you fill out surveys online she asked? That is one thing I like to do online so I thought it might be legitimate.

We continued to talk, she told me her name was Ellen. I asked her what I had to do and why she was calling me. She said everything is payed for, flights for no less than two but as many as four, four days in Orlando, hotel and food, four days in Daytona, again hotel and food, and a three day cruise. So all one trip I asked, how many days? She said 11 days 8 nights, how can you have 11 days but only 8 nights? Red Flags were popping up all over the place! Then came the biggest RED FLAG- all you have to do is pay the taxes, airport taxes, hotel taxes, and port taxes for the cruise, it's 319.00.

I continued to question her, Shouldn't I get something that tells me all about it in writing? She said my packet would be shipped UPS as soon as I payed and I only had until Aug. 5th to pay. They should have sent you something in the mail or by e-mail, maybe you threw it away she said. I asked her for their phone number (888 883-8408) told her I would talk to my Husband and call her back. After I hung up, and after talking to a friend, who was pretty sure it was a scam, I put their name in my search engine and all that came up was the rip off site. I did other searches and still nothing legitimate about Oasis Travel Club. When I called heir office they all treated me like they didn't know what I was talking about and if I had a complaint to write to the head office, which is the address above.
