I too received a call from a gentleman named Jordan, ID 23004. The caller ID indicated a Toronto phone number of 416-628-8182. He advised he was with Oasis Travel Club, and that I had won a 2nd place prize package valued at 2119.00 which would include air from my home state of New Mexico to Orlando, FL. where I would stay at the Renaissance Worldgate Resort for 4 days and 3 nights, then be shuttled to Daytona Florida for 3 days and 2 nights.

While in Daytona, I would be provided passes aboard the Sterling Casino Cruise (which I find later that there is NEVER a charge to board this ship since they want your gambling money anyway). From Daytona, I am to board another cruiseline that will take me to the bahamas on a 4 day 3 night cruise.

All in all, it sounds good, but why if I have won something, am I paying the sales tax on port charges and airline surcharge fees? I was advised I have a year and a half to take the trip and that I can extend that an additional year if needed. The phone call was recorded as well, supposedl for both our protection. He did advise from time to time that I may ba approached by others to view properties in Florida, etc. The old timeshare gimmick, I suppose. I gave him a credit card, not that it's any good at all, it's not even a valid card. LOL.

But, supposedly it was all verified and I'll receive my package in 3-4 weeks via UPS ground. Why so long, UPS ground is max 10 days~ Anyway, this company may be up to the same scams as previous companies who have had class action law suits against them for fraud, so if you get this call, be very careful! If it sounds too good to be true, it surely is!!
