So, I was contaced by this company last week saying I was entered into their "Million Dollar Lucky Number Sweepstakes" for a chance to win up to 1 million dollars. This sweepstakes targeted me due to the fact that I have a visa check card through my bank, and they were very friendly and congratulated me.
The man then informed me that I was to receive some free magazine subscriptions just for being entered and I would also receive a diamond watch for myself or a loved one. All very friendly, seemed like my lucky day!
We set up everything and decided which magazines I would like to receive, then the man told me he was new and that his supervisor was gonna call me back to make sure he did his job properly... ok.
A few minutes later they called back, this new guy said he was just calling to confirm that I had been giving the information properly and such, but he also added some things that started to disturb me.
He told me that for the subscription service I would have to pay a small fee of $4.60 a week to receive my 5 magazines for like 4 years... ok not so bad.
He then went on to inform me that instead of the $4.60 a week over and over for 4 years they would charge me 12 monthly payments of $79.73 starting immediately!
WAIT! BACK IT UP!
I then told him about 5 time that I had just lost my job, and couldnt really do this right now, I mean in theory it sounds alike a good deal, and under normal circumstances I might actuall partake, but I need to get back on my feet first before I commit to any recurring payments on my account.
He told me that when my intro package arrived I would be able to choose when I started paying and even sign up for invoice billing if I so chose, which alleviated some of my concern, and I repeated my previous statement, as at this point red flags started appearing in my head.
Well, he convinced me to just wait for the starter package and go from there.
A few days later I got my "package" which was basically an envelope with about 5 sheets of paper in it, opened it and began looking for a way to cancel.
Well, there is invoice billing, but with the credit card on file with them if I failed to pay them by invoice by a certain day, they would just charge my card anyways... thats some real BS right there.
So I researched a little bit using google and searching for Omnipresent, and find some forum posts and such about a scam company named Omnipresent that used this same schtick to get some money out of people.... OH S***!
With my rent check for this month turned in, I went to check m account to verify for the 10th time that the money was available to pay it out, and curiously there is a charge on my account for $79.74.... I havent even returned the starter package yet!! They didnt even send me a return envelope to do it with!
So I immediately called and asked to have the charge reversed and to cancel my subscription, at first this woman seemed nice and kindly asked me to hold. She comes back about a minute later and asks me what I need help with. I tell her I need that money put back and I want to cancel... She immediately gets an attitude and tells me I approved that payment and theres nothing I can do.
I try telling her that it was my understanding that I would be able to choose when my first payment started and she said "No, tha last call we had with you was a woman and you approved this" or something of that manner, I tried to be nice and said again that I didnt approve this and she got snippy and told me there was nothing I could do...
Well, to end a long story I simply said "The Im calling my f****** bank you scam artists" and hung up.
I promptly had my card changed out and the reversal of the charge is in progress....
DONT TRUST OMNIPRESENT INC!
If (813)885-7057 calls you just ignore it, or answer and say "NOT INTERESTED" and hang up!

The same thing happened to me in Texas, I'm a college studnet so I cant even possibly do the $70 a month... they charged me after I was on the phone for 20 min telling them this after they explained the billing. Then the lady hung up on me... I say the charge the next day called them back (it wa busy SURPRISE!) so I just filed a claim with my bank and my bank worked with me and got the charge taken off..
