Option One Mortgage Corp Suspense payments Irvine California

We fell behind on payments because of high interest rates and late taxes. I called and ask for help, I was told we could work on modication loan. I was told they would sent a package, package never arrive. After several calls I was finally told to mail the needed information, they gave me a list. I fax the information on three occasions, they always had an excuse. They had not rec'd the needed information. I would re-fax the needed information again same response, finally got tired of their game.

I work on a payment arrangement for 8 months and have being paying extra $500.00 for 3 months. I ask why the money wasn't being applied to my loan they answer its proably in a suspensed account. I agree to this agreement because I was getting foreclosure letters and their customer service said this was the only way to save my house.

Also I told them my payment needs to drop in amount because my escrow will be paid in full in October. I am paying 795.00 in escrow, I was told NO because the arrangement is until March 08. Of course I am speaking with somebody from India very RUDE and unwilling to listen to us.
Once October payment is applied I should be up to date with December payment but they want us to continue making the extra pymts until March.

I want this company to be fair with their dealing. We are hard working people and should not be put in a situation to get rip-off.

I would like some advise on the extra payments and extra fees they charge us.
