Option One Mortgage Corp. ripoff, unprofessional, fraud, unrealistic, ridiculous, rude, Irvine California

Option One Mortgage is a very rude and misleading company that takes peoples money.

I have tried every form of sending my payment to them and somehow it is never on time, and they always find a way to charge the late fees.

This company has ruined my standing as a homeowner and made it impossible to refinance and get away from them.

They also have made my payment appear to be 30days past due and then require the current payment to be by Western Union. These people will return a payment if you do not make it by Western Union or cashiers check overnight mailed.

I have faught with this company for three years now and I would tell any future home owners to run if they hear the name Option One used as a lender.

If you have to call and talk to the people at this company they are rude and hateful. I dont care if you are just calling to get their address they want your account number so they can harrass you.

They think they have a right to know where you spend every dime of your money. The question you and degrade you to the point you hang up. Then they wonder why their customer's do not call them.

I cannot believe a company would return a full payment because they say it is late. It is absurd to me. This horrid company has made thousands off of my account alone in late fees.

I have even sent them certified payments, phone payments, tried online payments, and Western Union.

Even Western Union they find a way to get late charges, they tell you that you did not call back with your number off of your Western Union receipt.

It also costs to send Western Union and I should not have to go through that. Or pay for any other form of proof of payment. This company should be shut down.

I have never been treated so poorly on a continous basis by a company in my life, or continualy ripped of by one.

I do not know how they stay in business but H&R block should be ashamed to have any connection with them. I am also severing a long standing relationship with H&R block as long as they continue to have a part in Option One Mortgage. I sympathize with all the others that are unfortunate enough to have any connection with this terrible company.
