OSI Portfolio Services ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Duluth Georgia

This is the first credit report that I have ever ordered. Upon overlooking it, I found a couple of abbrieviated company names that I wasn't familiar with, so I entered them into a search engine.

The first one turned out to be legit, I remembered that particular debt. But the second one OSI Portfolio Services turned out to be a computer company or something to that effect.

Then I noticed the words fraudulent billing and I selected that search and read the ripoff report and it sent chills down my spine. I didn't know a company could do something like that, much less get away with it.

My report says that I opened an account in Jan. of 1997, with an installment agreement of 90 dollars a month for 23 months. BUT... as of April of 2004, I'm only 120 days past due.I don't understand how a 23 month installment agreement can last for 7 and a half yrs.

Furthermore I have only bought my computer last yr., paid cash, and never owned one prior. It also stated that my balance is $1360, but the most owed was $1620, and I'm past due$540. Now if you multiply $90x23 months, it will total $2,070, so that should be the most owed.

It also stated that I'm 4 months past due which would total $360, but it says I'm $540 past due. Anyway I look at it, it just doesn't add up. And it wasn't enough for them to put this on my credit, they added insult to injury by reporting that in the prior 3 months I was 3 times 90 or more days late, when I've never ever sent them a dime in my life!!
