Palisades Collection False Claim of Debt and use credit reporting to intimidate into paying Brookfield Wisconsin

In 2003 I had an account with AT T WIRELESS One of the phones on this account was stolen and reported immediately to ATT Wireless and canceled. This phone was never replaced or reactivated. For two billing cycles charges for this phone never appeared on any statement and should not have since it was canceled. On the third billing cycle charges for this phone appeared which were never made or authorized by me since I did not have a phone with the specific number. This was reported to ATT Wireless immediately. After expending over 60 man hours gathering documentation and presenting evidence that the charges were not my responsibility.

ATT Wireless ignored the evidence.

They latter appear to have sold the claimed dept to collection agencies (there have been several over the years) that have harassed and threatened me with adverse action if I did not pay this claimed dept or a discounted portion of the debt. Palisades Collection has reported this false debt to credit reporting agancies in attempt to cause damage to my credit to collect this false debt. I always invited them to pursue a small claims action against me to collect the dept so I could counter claim against them for the costs I incurred because of their ignoring the evidence.
The charges that are in dispute occurred in September 2003 and this account was closed in December 2003.

After seeing the numerous reports on the Internet about Palisades Collection, AT and T Wireless with no recourse to correct false information reported to collection agancies some recorse needs to ne found. The acceptance of information supplied by Palisades Collection (ATT Wireless is also resonsible ) by credit reporting agencies without vetting the information with so many claims of misreprsentation also makes the credit reporting agancies also Culpable is the damage caused to so many people.

What we need is some way to hold al of them accountable and if others feel the same way lets come up with a stradagy to do it.
