Palisades Collection Ripoff Fraud Collections! Trying to collect $363 on behalf of AT&T wireless! Englewood New Jersey

I closed & paid my AT&T wireless account back in 2000. I never heard anything from them again until two days ago when I reviewed my credit report. This collection agency has never contacted me nor has AT&T, but when I call AT&T...they don't have any record of this bill because it's such an old account. My question was..."how do you know that I owe anything then?" They couldn't answer that one.

I've since disputed this information through all 3 credit reporting agencies. Since I'd never heard of this company before, I'd decided to look them up online. That is when I was shocked to discover that I wasn't the only one who has had this same problem.

My biggest concern is that a company can send a collection agency after someone with no physical proof of them oweing any money at all.
