Palisades Collections LLC Houslanger & Associates, PLLC Attorneys At Law Rude, Secretive, Nasty, refused to give information about the company when asked Katonah, NY New York

I got a letter in the mail saying there was a judgment against me for over 4,000.  I called to find out what it was about, the gentleman who answered asked me certain questions then informed me that it was from a credit card from 2003.  I told him the statute of limitations in New York is up even if this was a credit card I had.  

At that point he was very nasty and got very loud, was speaking over me.  He told me they can come after me for twenty years.  I'm not sure that's true but I told him I was going to make sure he was right.  He told me to calm down (I wasn't in anyway upset) and he told me that he's the supervisor and he knows.

I inderstood I wasn't going to get anywhere with this conversation so I asked for the companies lisence number because I want to know if the company is licensed to collect this debt.  Again he was incredibly nasty and rude he told me they are not obligated to tell debtors anything because it's none of my business.  

I was shocked at this man's attitude, especially since I was asking for information that is a matter of public record.  That all being said I don't remember this credit card but it was still eleven years ago.
