We travel all over the country and order Papa John's pizza in many different cities. We always order extra garlic butter sauce. Problem is, I always pay for it and never get it.

Every time the delivery person comes, they apologize that the sauce is not there, and often offer to come back "later" to bring it. That is unacceptable to me, seeing as we aren't going to wait to eat the pizza. I contacted the company, with no response.

Each of those butters cost about $.50, I usually pay for at least 4 or 5. Over time, imagine how much money the company is stealing from consumers. This happens in every city we travel to, so it is a company wide problem. If I have been ripped off over a $100 this year, imagine that time the thousands of customers they do it to each year! This is ridiculous!!

Management vs Corporate issues

AUTHOR: CLG - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 11, 2014

This happens all the time. There's a system in place so theoretically the drivers should know what they are delivering, not just handed a bag. However, the computer system at PJ is connected to corporate. If it takes too long for a delivery to be sent, or the driver is out too long; the customer is assumed to be upset. As a result, coupons get auto-mailed and the store starts getting angry corporate calls/visits.

To cope, the managers often "clock" people in before they are actually back before a delivery, and dispatched on another one. Sometimes you get back after being trapped in rush-hour, and the computer says you left for ANOTHER delivery 15 minutes ago.

The point of all this is that the rush to get deliveries out means you get a bag shoved in your face before you even know where you're going. Assurances that it's "all there" and you make the drive. When you get to the door, you find out it doesn't have garlic cups or drinks. Honestly, I'd advise you to stop ordering those little cups. You know how the boxes all proudly say "No Trans Fat!"? Correct, not in the pizza, it's IN THE CUPS, almost entirely processed carbs, trans-fat, and food-dye.
