Paul Davis Restoration Don't Believe a Word They Say! and Watch Out because Theft is a Regular Part of the Services They Provide clinton, Maryland

I'm a busy professional and a female. I was tired of dealing with the con artists who plague professional women in general so after the hurricanafter my initial research, I thought I doing a good thing by using a restoration company approved by USAA. Boy, am I ever sorry. Never again.

The hurricane was in August. The "President" of the company told me the repairs would be completed by the end of the month.  I signed the contract and gave the first payment and with no exaggeration- it was downhill from there. I have never ever worked such an unprofessional group of individuals before and I hope to never do so again.  Although Steve said they'd be there next week, like any compassionate human being I knew othesr had more damage to their homes then I did so I was patient. I was lucky. At least I could sleep in my home while others had lost theirs but once I signed that contract and wrote the check? I could not get a straight story, a return phone call or even an email from anyone.

In November(!), I called to say a storm's coming and there's roof damage- someone needs to come out and cover the roof. Oh yeah, sure no problem, they said. The only thing they did was  leave a card on my door. So, when it rained the bedroom was damaged. Communication stinks and its rarely accurate.  When they finally did start to do anything from day one their crew thought nothing of stealing from me and doing shoddy work. I had to hound them to get someone to attach the roof to the shed! The Paul Davis crew damaged or stole as much as they restored (damage to my neighbors as well). It was a nightmare.

 As I sit here now there is still damage and theft they've not made good on yet yesterday the crew started calling me at home (when I was at work) and then at least 10 times last night and again today! I assume it is for payment yet by their actions (and the last time I spoke to the crew chief, who lied, he was intoxicated) you'd think I was remiss somehow but since the last one left (mind you, they destroyed a desk before they left) I haven't heard from anyone. Nothing. But out of nowhere they are now  calling me every other minute with bizarre demanding messages. Do yourself a favor: don't use them, ever. They lie. They steal. They are more then willing to do poor substandard work.
