Payment Systems Corp 9 percent rate sold to us, 18 percent charged to us. Carlsbad/ Los Angeles, California Internet

We are a Philadelphia Japanese and Chinese food restaurant in Philadelphia, and recently had dealings with a credit card card company named "Payment Systems," a company apparently located in California. When they first approached our business, a sales lady offered us a deal that included only a one-cent fee Per swipe, anod a9% purchase fee. however, as we did business with them, we found out that it was a two cent swipe fee and A 18% interest rate per credit card purchase. Upon calling Payment Systems, we were met with first an excuse "we don't employ the person who sold you that anymore." Upon us requesting that this company take responsibility for the contract, we were met with more excuses and Lies. The issue to this point remains unresolved. Further, even though at first the offer was that we could opt out at any time, they have now insisted that cancellation requires a $5000 fee. Not only is my small business losing money in this deal, I feel we were victimized and taken advantage of. In hindsight, I would not have done business with "Payment Systems" and feel we were a target by this fraudulent company because we are a small business.
