Peoples Bank Looked for a mortgage...did a bait and switch...lead me on for 2 - 3 months. Eventually closed with another Mortgage company. Lost $395.00 for appraisal. Louisville Kentucky

Was called by Meghan Mooney, Mortgage Banker for Peoples Bank.  Paid $395.00 for appraisal, later found out that the rate was not locked in.  Mortgage rates eventually went up 1 point.  They did a bait and switch, wanting more money each time for points.  I did go with another Mortgage Company, but at a higher interest rate because of the 3 months of promises.  They probably thought I would have to go with them because of my investment of $395.00.
