Peoples Bank Peoples Mortgage Deceptive practices!!! Lies, lies, lies! Harassing phone calls and much higher fee loans Nationwide

Deceptive mortage practices.  Recieved letter in mail advertising 2.75% for a 15 year refinance.  When I called however, the best rate available was 3.375% even though both my husband and I have excellent credit and a good deal of equity in our home.  We went with another lender who cut over $100 off per month below the payment peoples bank offered us.  Super high fee's in comparision to other lenders!

What really gets my goat though, is that the company has continued to harass my family every day for the past month about refinancing our home, despite telling them never to call again each time. We originally sought a refinancing quote from a sales rep named Jason Morrow on 13 November, 2014 from Peoples Bank. Informed him we found another lender on 20 November, 2014. Since then, we have been harassed daily with unsolicited phone calls, all from different numbers, from peoples bank. Each time I speak with a sales rep I ask them to remove me from the list and never to call again. However, the harassing calls have continued.

Would recommend avoiding this bank at all costs!  Wells Fargo got me a great deal instead.
