I had ordered 4 posters from PosterPass.com for my daughter. It was a promotional internet notice I had received so I thought I would try it out. The charge was suppose to be $4.00 a poster ( I thougth) and a small shipping charge. I also ordered 4 more posters, at the same price ( I thought) for my other daughter. I put these on my bank card, and subtracted $18.00 from each transaction. At the most, I thougth " shipping might be $10.00 more for each". These are only posters and there isn't a lot of weight for them. I left for vacation for two weeks, and when I came back, I had several boxes from PosterPass.com. I assumed they had sent the posters each separately. That would add to the shipping charge, but I was happy to get the posters for my girls. UNTIL I started to open the boxes, and realized my first four posters were in one box, the next four in another, and they had continued to send more posters to me without my knowledge. My statement came, and the $36.00 charge I thougth I might have ( or $56.00 if shipping was more) was listed as $34.63 ( I assume this is the first order I expected.) But there are the two more listed as $48.96 and $48.00. I called the company and said I hadn't ordered the additional posters and to take those charges off my card. They said it is standard practice to continue to ship posters "like" the ones that were ordered and charge the card. I should have called and cancelled after my first purchase. I said I have never had to call and cancel any other program or account. Why would they ASSUME that I would want more posters if I didn't order them. He kept saying that it was standard practice. He finally cancelled my account and said I could send back the last box of posters and it would be credited to my account. The next day another box arrived, which I sent back. I'm waitting for my next statement to see what is or isn't charged or credited for the returned box.
