My husband and I both have credit cards from this company..like alot of americans our bills got behind and the minimum has only been sent..well about a year ago..the accounts were suspended and they took away spending priviliges...wellthey must have restored them because the balance on our cards was $230.00..the spending limit was $250.00... they hit us with an anual fee on 1/3/06 for $49.00 which put us over the limit..then tacked on a $25.00 over limt fee and then a $25.00 late fee.... i will never be able to get out from under these d**n cards.. WHAT CAn I do..im dont want these anymore..they are ruining my credit!!

How to avoid being RIPPED OFF!!!

AUTHOR: Bob - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 06, 2006

I'm a customer of Premier Bank card. I have had my share of credit cards and over the years have found that when dealing with a sub prime credit card such as premier, meaning a credit card company that focus' on helping establishing and re-establishing credit you are going to find that there will be many fees to open an acct with them. face it if I was dealing with someone that had very poor credit I WOULDN'T BE GIVING THEM A 1,000 CREDIT LINE AND ZERO FEES!!!! oh no. people like that have to start over again. Example this credit card and others like it are easily compared to auto insurance if you get too many tickets or dui's....then yeah your premium is gonna sky rocket! just like someone with a bankruptcy or some other financial difficulties your gonna have to get a sub prime credit card to start over. Come on you can't expect to have poor credit and just get a to good to be true deal. My point is everyone on here say "I paid my credit card off and the next month I had a annual fee" well if you look back on the monthly statement before the fee hit you would have noticed they have a paragraph stating you next annual fee will be coming due in this month this day of this year! Some of you people just don't take the time to read over your statement obviously you think OH my next "MINIMUM" payment is $20 lets pay it and then i'll have it in a couple of days to use, but it doesn't work that way you have to figure out whats the ammount of charges made and what are the cost of finance charges for the month and what is pending authorization for charges. I find it funny that I have had no problems with this company but so far everything that I have read in business books about finance and credit cards I understand everything its called reading the fine line thats why contracts have them cause businesses know you not gonna read them but they will put it in there so if they have to use it in court they can prove there case. One more thing for all the people that say there contacting the better business bureau, attourney general etc... funny that they don't pay too much attention when they haven't had any cases resulting in the card holder winning!!!!!! get a life I'm sick of you people downing businesses. Your a drain on the economy!
