Same story as others I see on this website but a little more info.
Ordered Pro Seal caulk tool from infomercial, never rec'd, called and was told that they are bulk mailed and would take add'l 6 weeks.
After that time passed I tried to call again and number was changed. I tried an old trick and varied the number by one digit to see if it would ring on same multi line phone and answerer said yes, I had reached the Pro Seal people and, sorry for delay, did I want my money back or the product shipped. I said product, but I think it wouldn't have mattered as I don't think they intended to send anything.
A few weeks later, the number was no longer answered, but a recording referenced contacting them by email at customercare@stormvac.com, which (I now know) is also cited on this website as a scam for vacuum cleaners.
Surprisingly, I did get a response from them saying that if I could provide backup info, they would ship my product. They gave me an address on 8th Ave in NY. By this time 6 months had elapsed since the original order, but still I was hopeful that these people weren't just crooks, and I complied. Perhaps they were fishing for personal info, as they wanted proof of payment, but I did not divulge any personal acct info on what I sent.
I never heard from them again. When you send an email to customercare@stormvac.com, you get an automated reply saying someone will contact you back within 24 hours. Of course, it doesn't happen. I don't understand why they even bother with the auto reply.
I don't understand why these people are allowed to advertise on legitimate television. I can't remember which channel I saw the original infomercial on, but if I did, I'd give them a piece of my mind as I feel they have culpability here for doing business with known crooks.
