PROSPERICA RIPOFF JUST ONE OF THEM - AND THEY ARE SMOOTH! Champlain New York

Yep - I got ripped off for $249 too and I am really embarassed because I have coached the elderly how not to get ripped off by telephone scams. These people (Prosperica and others) are obviously smooth cause they got me after many years of me being able to tell them a thing or 2 on the phone. (I think we should all get air horns and blow the horn into the phone when they ask for our Social Security number. But first ask them if their company covers them for Workers' Comp.)

The worst thing about these scum is they get all your personal information - so it is identity theft on top of stealing. They have your complete bank account number (including routing number), your Driver's License number, and for some of us who were "on a roll" and weren't careful, your Social Security number.

So - be sure and read the rest of these reports on this site - and in addition:

1. Go make a police report now!
2. Make 4 copies of the report and give 1 each to your bank, and the 3 credit reporting bureaus.
3. Close your bank account(they have been reported to come in multiple times to take out more and more money). Be sure you notify any businesses that do auto-pay from your account that you have a new account.
4. Report them to all the fraud agencies you can find. The more fraud reports, the longer they will stay in jail.

DO NOT take surveys on the Internet. That's how these scums got my info. - and you ought to see these fraud offers coming into my e-mail. DO NOT answer to any Credit Card or other freebie offers on the phone or in e-mail - it will all happen to you again and again! You may eventually have to change your phone number.

And finally - never agree to an offer and never give out your information until you have checked ripoffreport.com and other websites for fraud.
