During the initial stages of my inquiry process, I submitted my information online only to be bombarded with responses from many different moving companies. At first, I was overwhelmed with the information, but then I figured out a way to organize and sort among the best contenders. Public Van Lines had been at the top of my list from the beginning. The price was excellent, the response was immediate, and the customer service rep I spoke with was extremely sensitive to my nervous disposition. His name was Sean and he was he had the patience of angel. Believe me, I am a business's worst nightmare. I ask questions endlessly and I tend to be condescending in my tone of voice. He was not phased at all and treated me with an enormous amount of sympathy and respect.

Sean helped me secure my reservation and remained my point of contact until the delivery stage of my move. I was surprised that the movers arrived on the date that they promised (after hearing quite the opposite about the moving industry in general). What was most shocking to me is that all of my stuff arrived as if no one had touched it. I moved everything from a priceless chandelier to tons of junk I inherited from family. My junk was looked over just as if it were the chandelier. Even when I told one of the movers that he could just toss somethings in one area, he insisted on gently arranging them for me. He said that I would regret it once they had left. What a gem!

I find it within my moral duty to tell you how WONDERFUL Public Van Lines is when I came across the less favorable reviews below. Without disrespecting the other authors, I can't imagine how anyone could say anything but good things about Public. Oh... and one more thing. Incidentally, one of my neighbors needed to move shortly after I arrived at my destination. She called me to see what my experience was like with Public Van Lines. I told her that their service was impeccable and highly recommended them. Just to make sure that I wasn't the only one who felt so great about Public, I got in contact with her to see how she liked them and she said that they took the stress out of moving.
