PushPin Holdings, LLC I paid Pushpin almost $2000 for a $1500 machine and they continue to harass me for $3000 for no apparent reason or cause. New York, New York

I was contacted by Pushpin Holdings in January 2013. They contacted me through a civil suit letter that looked bogus. The cc machine was originally $1500. Now this company is asking me for $3000.  I called them and asked why didnt they try to reach me through mail first. They claim they did. I used to own a clothing store in 2002. I had a credit card machine through Lease Finance Group. After I talked with one of the argumentative reps at Pushpin, the rep agreed to a settlement of $1750 with $1500 to be paid by January 20, 2013 and $250 by Feb 28, 2013. I was faxed a new agreement.

I paid the$1500 on time.  After that I received multiple calls again from the rep, the rep continued to argue with me and harass me for no apparent reason. I received a call from Pushpin Holdings 3 times the week of 2/25/13.  I planned to pay and did pay $250 by end of Feb 2013.  I mailed $250 on 2/25 (postmarked and all). I received a call on 2/28 after hours from this same argumentative rep that harassed me. I told the rep they were inconsiderate. The rep became furious with me for saying that and stated well since I am inconsiderate your contract is null and void, now you owe an additional $250.

All because I told the rep they were inconsiderate, they want me to pay additional $250.  I told the rep they were out of their mind. Thats crazy. I said ok, I will make payment over the phone and stop payment on the check I mailed. The rep said its too late my accountants have left for the day. I stated, why did you wait to call me at 5:36pm on 2/28/13 when you know your accountants leave at 4pm? The rep did not have anything to say. The rep then proceeded to say I can do this for you. I asked do what. I hung up the phone. Pushpin are crooks. Something needs to be done about this company. What can I do to stop this harassment? They are asking me to pay them $3000 when the machine was only $1500. I am in NC, they are in NY.
