I was given a 1 time shot at my inventory to get the quote. I tried to update the inventory, as packing progressed but was unable to contact Jen or anyone from Quest for an update. The agreed upon pick up dates were 11-12 May. As of 10 May I still had no time confirmed or exact date. I called and spoke with their manager, Mr. White(?). He gave me a time area of 2-5 p.m. on the 11 May. At 4 p.m. on 11 May I received a call from the movers, they were not going to be arriving until 8 p.m. I had suggested that we load in the morning, there are other residents in my building, but was told by Mr White that there would be a rescheduling fee. So the moving team should up promptly at 930 p.m. yep another 1.5 hours after they said they would be there. They were done loading at 130 a.m. I had all my boxes taped  and ready to go, They still used their tape and shrink wrap and charged me for it. I was also charged for 75.00 for every 7 steps of stairs. Unless they are inside. My move was 954 miles. It is their time line of 501 to 1000 miles delivery 7-10 days, business days. As of today, Sunday 03 June 11:06 a.m. I have yet to get a time or date of arrival for my household goods. I have been in contact with Jen and Shakirrah from customer service and the answers I get back at vague at best. From what I have been told they lost contact with their moving crew(s). Nothing yet. I have asked for a price reduction on my final bill, Shakarra is looking into it. Due to my out of pocket expenses have gone up since I have no household goods at this time.

 

I have also started "cc'ing" my attorney, and logistics folks on this matter. MTF

Have you received your stuff, if so when?

Hi, I am experiencing the same thing except they outsourced my move to another company.

 

Have you gotten your belongings? I filed a report with the BBB and will with the police shortly. 

 

Any recommendations on getting in contact with them. Shakara no longer works there.

Here is what I did. Every time I emailed them I added another person, usually someone that deal with moving companies or that may have some pull. Fortunately, I have an attorney in the family and that I weork with logistics in the Army.

I copied their emails. business phones, any phone, company address and all discussion with this company. I put the whole thing on Face Book and asked my friends if there, are bored, please feel free to call for a quote from this company and then askk where is Order#........ belonging to Rory Deal? I actually had a lot of people calling them. The trick is to call their line for quotes, they will always answer that line. Someone will. At this time I have filed with MovingClaims.net. It took 30-60 days  to hear that I need to submit a request that all of my documentation was submmitted. I sent in the requested form and beloew is the response I received.

 I am in the middle of dealing with this exhausting experience with question moving. Of all of the horrific reports I have found on them, you seem to be the only one to have eventually received your things, albeit sifted through. It's been 30 days since we have last seen our things and all of our attempts to contact them are met with the same no information responses that you posted. How did you finally get in contact with the transportation manager/ manage to get ahold of your things! Anything would help, we have already filed with the BBB and the FMCSA as well as called the police!

 I have also found myself in a exhausting and similar situation with Quest Moving. Now 39 from out thing being picked up from Southern California, we are in our new home in Georgie with none of our belongings. Any attempt to get information about the location of our things is met with the same interactions you posted in your own report. You said that after discussion with the transportation manager you where able to receive your things, damaged as they were. How did you get in contact with the transportation manager?? Anything would be helpful! Thank you

So as it turns out, after finally be able to unpack my household goods, I came up short. I am missing well over 1000.00 worth of goods, I have filed aPolice Report and Lost Claims, but at this point, nothing. More to follow.

Working with the transportation manager, we were able to work through our issues and my household goods were delivered. Other issues that were discussed and resolved with this company. Working through one more, but I dont see any problem at this time. Thank you
