QuiBids is nothing like a real auction. It costs you 60 cents to make a bid and you can only raise the price by one cent with your bid. This means by the time something is going for $10 there has been a thousand bids made. A large HD TV going for $40 has had four thousand bids made. What are the chances the last of the 4000 bids will be your bid? You could always buy the item at a "Value Price" which is always much higher than the item could be bought elsewhere. Additionally, selection is limited to what is up for bids. If you like the thrill of playing a lottery, this site may be for you but, like a lottery, the chance of winning is very small. You would do much better by going to Amazon and getting exactly what you want at a lower price.

There seems to be some confusion on how we operate.  QuiBids is an online entertainment retail auction site that operates on a "pay to participate" business model.  Each bid indeed costs $0.60 and a user purchases those bids in what we call Bid Packs.  The user is then able to participate in whatever auction he/she chooses.  We explain all this information on our site very clearly.  The worst case scenario should be a user walking away with an item at retail.  The value price is not always higher than where you can get it elsewhere. We have competitive pricing with our products, but it also depends on the vendor we get our products from. So pricing can vary.

We are not a lottery and we do not have a random drawing.  Every auction is customer driven, therefore the customers depict the ending of each one.  Should there be any questions, feel free to contact our support at support@quibids.com.
