My husband and I were in quixtar for 3 years. We attended every function, every meeting, we got every cd and book, we did EVERYTHING we were told to do. I must say that the only thing we got out of this experience was a TON OF DEBT. I find it quite strange that they call this a 2-5 year plan when only TWO people in the history of quixtar have every gone diamond in that time. One being Dave Severn, and the others be Greg and Jaquie Francis.
I've seen a few people make some money in this business, but when everyone else in your group is suffering financially, how can you continue on with any sense of dignity. The truth is that to do everything that they want you to do in this business to be a so-called success, you have to spend very close to $1000 per month. And that does not include the functions which cost you around $500 if you are a couple. (that's for food, hotel, tickets, and gas money) I'm sorry, but there are not too many people that can afford that! My advice to you is to find an MLM company that is cost-effective!
I do believe that Network marketing is a great thing, but you have to find a company that doesn't take away all of your money and give it to your upline. We are now digging our way out of debt, and deeling with an upline that has threatened us, and our former upline. The truth of the matter is that they don't give a crap about you, they may pretend to, but when it all comes down to it, they JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! So, after 3 years of leaving my young children with a sitter, and not seeing my husband, and fighting for our dream, our journey with Quixtar is OVER.
Don't get me wrong, we still have huge dreams, we are just going to get to them using a different vehicle. I hope this has helped some of you that are looking into this business.
here is a breakdown of everything you have to pay for monthly (as a couple)
Continuing Education Program (we were in Winters Group) $41.25 for BASIC CEP they always encourage you to buy a lot more to give out to your group
Eagle Volume PV $700.00
Weekly Meetings $40.00
CommuniKate $31.00
Babysitters $100.00 (we only paid our sitter $25 per night)
ok, that comes to $912.25
Plus each Function is 100.00 per ticket not to mention the fact that they encourage you to stay in the hotel that your team picks out for you, and they generally are anything from 60-120 per night.
Now, obviously it takes money to build a business, but this amount of money is FAR from the $250 that they show in the plan.
Like I said before, I hope this helps. And I am not at ALL sorry for posting this!

It took me all of 30 minutes to peg it for what it is, a scam. ANTIME, ANY company uses the term "DREAM" in their spiel I know it's gonna be a scam. IF you think you're gonna make any money, you're "DREAMING". Example; Your dream house, your dream car, your dream vacation, your dream job.
