Me and my wifes story is way to long to post it out here, but for those out there wanting to join or are currently doing quixtar and giving your money to the Britt World Wide team well heres what I have to say.

These uplines get paid extra money. They lie tremendously, and they don't care about you. All they want is that money for the books and cd's you pay for which they get commisioned. The thing that bothers me the most about uplines and the IBO's, is they wash your brain with god. They use christian ways to convice you into buying into the business. They even make you shy away from your friends.

Now if some of you experienced this or not, please do your research, none of these people are rich nor are they true christians. Christians don't lie, or maybe they do if they want your money?

In conclusion the quixtar business and IBO's will do whatever they can to convince you. Don't be fooled do your research, crunch some numbers, and ask your upline or sponsored IBO if they are telling the WHOLE truth about the quixtar business. Don't forget to mention to tell the upline how long they've been doing it and compare that to the PLAN.

Yours truly
Too smart to be fooled.

ripped off by Quixtar(scAmway) too!!

AUTHOR: Gersh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 28, 2007

I told my wife and my family that these guys were ScAmway and they still got into it. I have lost over $1100.00 dollars with quixtar and they won't get another dime from me. there so called affitiates that are supposed to add up your pv/bv don't, and you usually get a small check for about $12.00!! I don't go to any more meetings or trips to hear any big wigs blow smoke, or watch there followers cry for my money. It's all a pyramid scheme just like the original soap selling blood suckers.

I don't care how many sad stories they tell I aint giving them another dime!! And after you listen to there sales pitch and spend some bucks you realize that quixtar will e-mail you and give you some lame pv/bv excuse so that they don't even have to send you the 12 measly bucks!

PS. after you get the sales pitch ask them to show you how to add up your money on quixstars web site. Bet they won't show you cause they need you to be oblivious as to how to add it up; so they can get paid while you screw up figuring out youve been scammed! But they will show you on there chalk board though!! I am sorry though that I talked a friend into giving up $250.00 to join up, my first and last IBO AKA (It's Bogus!!)

Doing your homework.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 29, 2006

You are right, Joel, nobody has the right to complain without doing their homework, so let's look at the ?homework?.

If you Google Quixtar, you come up with about 44 pages of hits. Two I would recommend are MLM survivors and AmQuix. These will also lead you to a number of other good pages about Quixtar.

I would recommend that people download and read the book ?Merchants of Deceptions? by former Emerald Direct Eric Scheibler. Scheibler talks about his Amway/Quixtar business and the things that go on behind the scenes (the book was free when I downloaded it).

You are right when you say that Britt or any of an IBOs uplines are not your ?boss?, however, it is made very clear to people that if they want to succeed, you are expected to follow every piece of advice your upline gives you, from what you buy, to what cloths you wear to what kind of car you drive. For the most part, if you don't by the tapes or the books or go to the meetings, you are "not serious" about the business and you get ignored by your upline.

You can file all the complaints you want with Alticor (Quixtar's parent company). Britt, Yeager and such are the money makers of Alticor and they are not going to do anything about it. If ?Corporate? really cared, then these issues would have been corrected years ago when Rich DeVos, in one of his ?directly speaking? tapes complained that the ?system? (i.e. tapes, etc.) was way out of control. He also knew that the people at the top were the money makers and refused to do anything about it (Google Amquix and spend sometime looking at this dot info website).

The Bible does state to ?do all things without complaining? (Phillipians 2:14), however, it has nothing to do with Quixtar, but working for God and doing the things that God would have you do. Last I looked, Bill Britt was NOT God. If you're going to quote the Bible, please at least try to do so in context.

You claim that you ?got access to a million products, 120 ?partner? stores, 100,000 manufacturers??

What partners? I've always loved this claim made by Quixtarites?. Claims that they have a partnership with companies like Disney, Coca-cola, Sony is all bull. None of these companies have a ?partnership? with Alticor. They simply sell them their products, just like they sell them to Walmart, Sears and Kmart. Through the internet or many other stores, I have the same access to these ?100,000 manufacturers? as any Quixtarite.

And you are right; someone has to make a profit. Let's look at the Tapes. Dexter Yeager probably the biggest name in Amway/Quixtar. Interestingly enough, most of the money he made was not ?doing the business? but running the ?system.? Both Yeager and Britt saw so much money in tapes that they created their own production companies to produce and distribute them. Dexter Yeager runs I.C.C.A, and Bill Britt runs American Media International (AMI). Please feel free to Google either of them. The money is NOT in Quixtar, the money is in the Tapes, the seminars, the meetings, the ?weekend trips.? This money doesn't go to the IBOs at the bottom, it goes to the people at the top. Unless you hit the big time (Diamonds and anyone above and to a very minor extent, Emeralds) you will NEVER see any of this money.

I have no doubt that when Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel created Amway they had big dreams of making money, not just for themselves, but for others. Somewhere along the way, the ideas got corrupted. Only a very few distributors ever have made big money from this business. By far, the vast majority of people who join will never make a penny.

Your right Joel, Do your homework. MLM survivors, Amquix and many other websites are a good place to start. You can learn a lot by spending time reading, comparing and looking for the truth.

Amazing how all these clones

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 29, 2006

have to come on here and defend what is alleged to be the greatest opportunity to financial freedom-only working 15-18 hours a week, yet they all have to have a regular job.

While chastising those that are expressing rip off, shouldn't you be looking in the mirror judging your own failure at not making this as successful as it should be according to your own diatribes?

Based on what you people say while criticising others, you wouldn't need regular jobs or have to start real businesses in order to live.

RE: Joel

AUTHOR: Cori - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 29, 2006

Well Joel, I would just like to say that I've done my homework. I have a friend who wanted me to get into "the business" & so I went to a meeting with her & her husband. I have to tell you that first of all, I could not afford to be in this business. They spend an enormous amount of money weekly / monthly on meetings, tapes, books, rallies, opens, seminars, product, etc., etc. It's very strongly encouraged that each & every person in the business purchase these items & attend every function, seminar, rally etc., etc. in order for them to succeed in this business. I heard it myself.

Everyone was very nice to me at the meeting. They're all like one big happy "family."That's wonderful except for the fact that I do not see one of those people ever speaking to me again once they find out that I have reservations about their business & have chosen not to become involved in it. That's just how they are & I've heard this same thing over & over again. In fact, my girlfriend will probably not speak to me either because the "family" does not like anyone to associate with those that aren't in the business. Too negative. They only want people in the business surrounded by positive thinkers. I will be referred to as a "dream stealer." Of course, I have no reason to want to steal anyones dream.

This business is just not for me because I cannot afford to be a part of it. Why do I want to invest my own money in something that I'm not going to make any money at? My friends work very hard at this business & all they have to show for it at the present time is a bunch of motivational mumbo jumbo. But my girlfriend has been programmed through her newfound "friends & family" to believe that she can have that dreamhome, that vacation, that new expensive car that she's always wanted etc., etc. I will not try to sway her one way or the other. She will find out soon enough on her own. Me? I live in the realistic world. I'm a single mom who has worked too hard for her money to just help line someone else's pockets. That's all that these poor unfortunates are doing too. The top dogs in this business are getting rich off of the motivation business. Not Quixtars "fabulous" products.

For example: It cost my girlfriend & her husband $95.00 each for a ticket to get into a function/ seminar...whatever. Another $120.00 each for a bus ticket to the function. Then there's the expense of a hotel room for 2 days/nights. That doesn't include meals while they're there & the expense of the motivational crap that they'll be conned into buying while they're there. Let's see...according to Dateline's report, the recruitment meeting that they attended in New Jersey(with their hidden cameras)brought in approximately 1,500 people or more.

I wonder what a ticket cost everyone of those people to get into that meeting? If everyone paid the $95.00 that my girlfriend & her husband paid, wouldn't that be somewhere in the neighborhood of $142,500 made just off of admittance into that one meeting? Imagine the profits off of all the motivational crap that is also sold at these functions. The money is just unbelievable!! Now you tell me, Joel, where is all of that money going? Somebody is sure lining their pockets & I can tell you that it's not the IBO's or the "little" people of Quixtar.

As I said, I have done my homework & have done so much research on Quixtar & gathering of information that I could probably write a book on the subject now. I have spoken to several people that were once in the business too, & it amazes me how the stories are never different from any of these people. They tell it verbatim. The same exact experiences. There are only a few of you, but there are thousands & thousands of those who have not succeeded in this farce of a business. Hmmm....why is that?

If you have been so successful & have $50,000 just laying around to invest in your current business, then you should already be doing pretty good for yourself, right? So, if you do lose money through Quixtar or don't end up making a lot off of the business, then it most likely won't have much of an impact on you financially, correct? Well, the biggest problem that I have with this business is that they prey on vulnerable people that are desperate to find that financial freedom & that all American Dream that Quixtar recruiters are out there promising the world if they become a part of the business.

Why don't YOU do YOUR homework. Quixtar is no more than Amway renamed simply because Amway was caught & ordered to stop using deceitful & unethical business practices. I would not have known this if I hadn't checked into it. My girlfriend & her husband certainly weren't going to disclose that information to me. Neither will anyone else in the business. Anyway, "google" Quixtar & see what you come up with. Also check
out "Datelines" report on Quixtar. It's very interesting. It will tell in great detail all the lies that were told to people at that recruitment meeting in New Jersey.

The promises of how you can make an extra quarter of a million dollars just working this business 10-15 hours a week? Give me a break!!! Funny how that same recruiter who professed his wealth just from being in the business was arrested & charged with possession of crack cocaine. He was in the business alright & he was wealthy alright, but I can guarantee that his wealth & good fortune wasn't made through Quixtar!

"My upline when I was in it never made a commission off tapes or anything."

How do you know? That money goes to someone. If there is so much money flying around why does a $1.50 tape cost anything? If just half of the pitch were true I would be giving them away like AOL disks.

What do you mean WAS in? you are not a ...whatever anymore? Why? Yet you still defend them. Curious, the Stockholm syndrome comes to mind. Look it up.
Here is a five year plan for you:

1.Learn to write
2.Write a best seller
3.Go rest your head

This is a tried and true formula for success. Ask around.

Bad group

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 14, 2006

I don't know what group you're in. My upline when I was in it never made a commission off tapes or anything. I paid them what I paid to buy them from the site. Anyone who pays more does so willingly. If they pay a lot more they need to have a serious talk with their upline as to why they are charging so much more. My upline also never lied once. They never told me to lose my friends. They sure as heck didn't brainwash my brain with God as although I was raised Catholic I no longer practice. At events with the Sunday morning masses I usually went to breakfast then came back for the final business parts.

Your comment about doing your research & asking the IBO showing the plan hard questions are good ideas. But that shouldn't be the end of it, once in you should keep learning about it. Once you know the bare facts about it then you shouldn't have to worry about being charged too much for optional materials.

Someone failed to do their homework

AUTHOR: Joel - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 07, 2005

Nobody has the right to complain until they have done their homework. It's all right there on the website on how you can build a business. It's all spelled out for you in black and white...but I bet you forgot to read that. Someone failed to do their homework.

For one if you take the time to read the rules and regulations of the business. You will see that Mr. Britt or any one in your upline is not your boss. If you don't like what he/they say, you simply ignore it and do business how you see fit as long as it falls within the rules and regulations of the company. If they have a problem with that then let corporate know. File a valid complaint against them with corporate. Corporate takes a lot of effort to get rid of those who give it a bad name and I mean within the organization itself. It wouldn't be the first time they've taken out people of high ranking in the business. And that's another thing; you blame Quixtar for what someone else has done. File your complaint against the Britts not Quixtar. Don't come to the internet and be a blank face.

In fact, I rarely listen to my upline. It makes them mad but I find out all of my information from the website and also the IBO's guide. It explains it all there. Then when people ask me questions, I can truthfully answer them. I have nothing to hide because I do business the way it should be done. I do recommend CD's and books but that's all I do is recommend. Everyone on my team makes an informed decision and is never forced.

Everyone one wants to be a faceless name and not be seen complaining. Doesn't it say in the Bible "to do all things without complaining"?

I hate reading about complaints because I could sit here all night and tell you mine and most of it has to do with my upline. But does that stop me from doing it right? No! Instead what I have done is found one of their awesome products and started talking to people about it. I've taught myself everything about it and use that knowledge to increase my business. This one product has given me the opportunity to make a lot of connections and I'm working on a project that will make me a lot of money. Not my up-line. It's also going to help make my down line a lot of money also. I believe in sharing the wealth.

All I've done is to sell a product in bulk. I get the retail profit and also a percentage of what my clients buy. Call it a commission. People in this business sometimes forget that this is a business of products and moving products. We have everything from toilet paper to cars.

Who makes the profit? Someone has too. Everything that is free is not really free. But that's what people want when they sign up. I want it handed to me without me having to lift a finger they say. In fact maybe the blame finger should be pointed at you. If you don't like the fact that he makes money off of the tapes/CD's/books then don't buy them. If you don't like the fact that every time you walk into Wal-Mart and they make money off of you, don't go there. In fact, don't go anywhere because everyone is making money off of you. Oh but wait, that includes your job. Ask your boss if the company you work for is making any money off of you. If you're self employed, like I am, go ask the government if they are making any money off of you. Your point of "people making money off of you" is pointless.

I own a traditional business and dropped $50,000 just to get started. With Quixtar I dropped $47.75 to get started. For that price I got access to a million products that I can buy for myself or retail. 120 partner stores, 100,000 manufacturers and more. Wow what a deal. If someone calls that a loss, then they need to go back and start flipping those hamburgers because you're always going to be broke.

As for the Christian comment about them being liars. Well, last time I checked Christian doesn't equal perfectbut you may also believe that Jesus was a white guy with blue eyes. I'll leave it at that.

I challenge you to go here: www.quixtar.com and click on the Quixtar Facts link at the bottom of your page. Study up on what has been going on. I don't think they could get the Golden Reel award for being a Pyramid scheme or what ever all these other people are calling it. Quixtar Newsroom is the link.

Have a comment for me: Send them through this website: www.wichitaeventsdj.com

Note: Please don't use the bit about how I'm brainwashed...you don't have a leg to stand on in that argument. I'm quite an intelligent and street smart human being, thank you. Also, if you want to use the regurgitate argument you need to think about all the stuff you regurgitate every day. It's all been fed to you and all you do is regurgitate. He shoots, he scores! Come on people use your heads, instead of trying to push it off on someone else.

P.S. If you are to smart to be fooled then my question is did you go to college and get a good job? Your name is not true. You just weren't smart enough to do your homework.

P.S.S. Solution: It takes one person to start a Revolution. If all of these complainers actually just took the time to figure out the right way of doing things and started doing them, it would take less time to fix the problem than it took for me to write this rebuttal. All they have to do is teach people the right way. Start it and keep it going. It's not easy but it can work. If you don't like something in an organization then change it. The right rules and regulations are at your finger tips; you just have to read them and then start the changing process. Be the leader of a New Revolution and make a name for yourself as the one who changed things. That's what I do and the word is starting to spread. My team loves me and how I help them make money. That's why I'm their leader. I do it the way it's supposed to be done. Truth, Honesty, Respect.
