Ramada Plaza Resort, Ramada Time Share Diabetics beware of this Vacation ripoff Fort Lauderdale Florida

In 2001 my husband and I signed up for one of the Ramada vacations. We stayed in Ft Lauderdale, took the cruise to the Bahamas and then went to Orlando to finish up our trip. We didn't have too many complaints about the trip as it was only about $700.00 for both of us to go, but the one thing that made my blood boil was the presentation in Ft. Lauderdale.

We were given the tour of the time share units and then we politely advised our rep that we were not interested, please give us our cruise tickets and let us go on our merry way. They made us speak to 3 more reps and by this time my husbands blood sugar was dropping and he was becoming ill. They kept trying to shove sugar soda at my husband and telling us we were missing out on a great deal.

I finally threatened to contact an attorney and the police before we got our tickets and were allowed to leave. When I received calls later asking us how we enjoyed our trip, I told them to quit calling us as they had put my husbands health in jeopardy by trying to get me to sign something before they would give us our cruise tickets.

No one ever called to apologize for the rude, dangerous selling methods. By the way, Orlando has strict rgulation regarding behavior of timeshare sales. We were given breakfast and cash to set through the presentation in Orlando and were treated very well.

Stay away from Ramada and their hard ball tactics!
