This is the worse trainning school I've signed up for. Real Estate Expresse was suggested to me by a would be employer in Florida. The completion of the 63 hour course in real estate is required prior to taking a final exam for your license. While taking the 3 hr timed course final with a group on a Satursday, our internet connection at the library crashed. The first time we were able to sign on and continue where we left off via test question. Th second time it crashed, I was on question 75 with about 13 minutes left. Thinking I can just log back on and continue as before, their "software glicth" returned me to question 36 with 11 minutes!!!!
I freaked out and tried to hustle through it as quickly as possble. I REANSWERED 36-77 and it timed out after the 11minutes. My final score was 57, not passed. 70 is required. So all I had to do was answer 13 out of 23 correct which I well on my way to do. Or not cause of the glitch. Saying I was pissed is n understatement. With all the studying and time committment and payment of $99.00.
This is where the fun starts:
No oe is available on weekends to contact. So you get dropped in the voice mail system or for tech support email your problem. They claim to respond within 24 hrs, they or something did with a boiler plate nser of we're sorry but you must retake the test in 30 days because you hadn't pass. I wanted to actually speak with a person nd really explain the issue instead of some "face less" person giving me a boiler plate response. Very impersonal.
So I call first thing Monday morning and speak with customer service person, not a tech support person. She acknowdge is was on question 75 when dropped with 13 minutes remaining. However, she claims no responsibility for the logging back on and getting to question 36 and a lose of 2 minutes. She claims technicl compatibility issue wit hmy computer. I said my computer was compatible when you accepted my money, and while taking the 20 chapter course, and when we were kicked off the first time and were able to resume where we lefted off. So expaling why did your system arbitraliy take me back and subtract over 40 questions? what is your techinical answer for thaqt, she dcould never answer that question.
I asked when have you ever reset a test? what were the circumstanses? Couldn't name any. She kept wanting to make this my coputer issue. I also told her that several others were there as well and 3 of us were logged back on on strange questions. One person was logged back on with question 3 and 11 minutes, another question 50 something with 11 minutes and myself with 36. Others were able to log back on and contiue where they left off, they passed.
So know I asked for a supervisor, first she stated no one was there. Then she stated they were in a meeting. So I said great plainning, after not open on the weekend, but let's have a Monday morning meeting and not be available for any calls. Stupid. She then just cold transfered me to some voice mail for a supervisor and I left a message. That was 8:50 or so. I called back and now can't get through i nthat cue, but in the sales cue they'll quickly pickup and are jsut as clueless. Even more so. I asked the name of the supervisor. She initially refused. Then stated a guy name Brett, One guy. She began to somewhat giggling and make light of this issue and not seem urgent at all. I asked when will he return from the meeting? Stated she didn't know. I said well some companies with allow you to walk to the meeting and get a supervisor. She claimed she couldn;t do that. So I was transfered again.
Periodically I've been calling and it now 10:40 and no call. This is costing me not only the 99.00 but the written job offer that started this morning and 3 of the group are there. So I'm losing that money, and they want me to retake the test again in 30 days... What if this happens again? Again, out of my control.
Very frustrating, and small minded company. No logical reason given. And the only one punished is the customer due to internet, then relogging and losing 40 questions, yet maintaining the time as if I was on question 75. No support. Terrible company. Do not use these online companies. Because the recourse will not be there if there's a problem. I don't mind failing on my own, but to be set and waste time reanswering questions is a monetary waste. The mere fact that others had different experiences with the same issue at the same time with different responses indicates a techincal inconsistancy.
Finally speak with a Brett and he states he can't see my multiple log in and that I basically took the test without interruption. No one else to speak with. No attempt to look into it further with IT. And there's no recourse to that. No money back. Nothing except fo a retest in a month-that it may happend again.
CONCLUSION:
Take the test in-person... or DO NOT USE this company. RUN as fast as you can.

This student contacted our school 4/7/14 with an issue that they had encountered while taking there Florida Pre-License course final. The student spoke with our Student Support Department and our Management as well. During the discussion the student said they were in a group setting at a public library taking the course final. We reviewed the policy with the student for taking the course final and told the student that taking the course final in a group setting is not allowed by the state of Florida and is considered as a form of cheating.
Every student is provided with a course orientation that they read and sign before starting their course work. Within the orientation it is noted about inappropriate behavior: " inappropriate behavior is grounds for termination and foreiture of their education. Inappropriate behaviors includes but is not limited to: cheating, fraud, use of profane language in written and verbal interactions with our staff or website (Forum), verbally abusive language toward staff or instructors, threatening and bullying."
Every student is also provided with a Florida Pre-License Exam Policy and Affidavit that they sign before entering into their course final. In the Affidavit it states that the student will have a 3 hour time limit to complete the 100 question final exam and the exam is a closed book exam. The following is provided in the Affidavit as well:
"I certify that I personally completed each module of instruction. I understand that if any other person has completed any module of instruction or any part of this course required for completion of the course, Real Estate Express may not award credit for the course or may withdraw credit already awarded for this course. Attempts to defraud exam results will result in the forfeiture of my right to finish the course, receive a refund, and will be reported to the Florida Real Estate Commission"
There are several issues here that need to be covered:
1) There is an admission of group help when testing on the school final.
2) There is a libriarian who confirmed to our school that this student was taking there course final in a group setting.
3) The test questions on the exams largely have the same incorrect answers on the missed questions.
4) The start times of all parties involved indicate they worked together on there course final.
As this student and the other students were found cheating on their course final they were all notified that their courses had been suspended. They were also reported to the Florida Real Estate Commission as we are required by law to report students who are cheating. Cheating on an exam is grounds for license denial for 5 years if the license has been issued. There is a process for the students who were caught cheating and they may request a hearing with the Florida Real Estate Commission.
61J2.2.027 - (2) The applicant must make it possible to immediately begin the inquiry as to whether the applicant is honest, truthful, trustworthy, of good character, and bears a good reputation for fair dealings, and will likely make transactions and conduct negotiations with safety to investors and to those with whom the applicant may undertake a relation of trust and confidence.
61J2-3.015 The student named in this report has completed the referenced course in accordance with the requirements of the Florida Real Estate Commission. The original course completion report is to be given to the student and a copy retained by the school.
61J2-3.008 (b) The school permit holder, permitted administrative person, or permitted instructor shall, assure necessary equipment performance and administer and certify student and course compliance.
Since these students were caught cheating on their course final exam they were not allowed to take their second course final attempt and were expelled from our school.

Supervisor called and is a liar. The CSR Brook stated she could see my screen where i was on question 75 before the crash and he stated he couldn't see that information. However, he was able to tell me how long I spent on my courses. Also each time you log on, a running clock appears. I asked have they ever reset or had someone retake the test? He resused to answer. My feeling is that it's neve happened. He would probably have to research that.
Bottom line, people want to be treated fairly. Win or lose on their ability. There's enough obstacles without a man made one. The fair thing would have been to investigate why sysytem would arbitrary place a student 40 questions behind, and yet maintain the 3 hour clock at the original time? why one or the other? If one should occur then so should the other other. Other words, if the system chooses to take you back 40 questions, then it should calculate te remaining time.
But according to this liar. No one should be able to log back in. Anytime you lose connection or crash, you automatically get a zero. Then I stated then why was I able to log in the first time the system dropped me and was able to return where I left off. And there was a link on their home page that states to click to return? Why should anyone have to return, if the policy says that no matter the reason being kicked off, there should be a zero score. As with everything else, that too was inconsistant. The sometimes creates the unfair practice.
It could happen to you.
Go to a live instructor for your test. I've lost $99.00 plus a job with a written offer letter. And he wants me to retake this again in May... It could happen again as well. Just like before, not planned. And they wont work with you, just look for reasons NOT to work with and claim your disgruntled because you didn't pass.... BULL
