When I submit a Credit Card to RealtyTrac.com for a 7 day free trial, I expect that vendor to ask if it is appropriate to process the CC charge because I am willing to pay for their services. This company did not notify me that my CC was being charged, and they were going to process monthly payments without my knowledge. This is not a request that I validated and I have not officially requested to be a paying customer at anytime.

I trust that all businesses that display the BBB logo follow a code of ethics, and not exploit verbiage in some extensive and wordy "Terms of Use" link hidden below a HUGE SUBMIT & CONTINUE box. If it is truly considered a business of value by a customer they should consult the customer of their intention to make a CC charge.

Contact the San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties of CA. BBB and file a complaint to resolve this problem if it happens to you!
