Redwood Paper ,Redwood Paper tried to scam us for $368.00 in paper cost! Bullhead City, Champlain, New York Arizona

A representative from Redwood Paper named "Stacy" contacted my store manager and misled him into believing that we ordered paper from their company. She recorded him verifying our address, and told him that he was just confirming the mailing address for an order of paper rolls that we had previously ordered. She told my manager that she would be sending us the final shipment of paper rolls, which she said was the final order of three previous shipments. We then received a box of paper. We then received an invoice for $368.00. This represents a price of at least 7+ times the actual cost of such paper.

When I called to question and dispute the order and charge, I could only leave a message. When Stacey called me back, she said that I owed the money and if we did not pay it we would be sent to collections. I told her that obviously there was a mistake made since we never placed an order for paper rolls. She said that we did place the order and that she could not take the paper back because the law says that after 30 days she could not legally resell the paper. I challenged her in that there is no such law. She got angry with me and basically said that she would take me to collections and court over this.

We, my manager and myself (both on the phone), tried to get her calm down and said we could simply send the paper back at our expense. She really got more pushy and angry trying to scare me into paying this invoice, which further alerted us of a possible fraud. Before hanging up on us, she called me an "a*****e" and said I would be hearing from her collections person.
