Attention All Contractors:

Do not use www. reliableremodeler.com. First of all, they charge a $29.99 monthly fee, which most other websites don't, and you don't find out about this until you see it on your credit card. You think it's a one-time fee, it's not. It hits every month. You'll realize that a few months later, looking at your statements.

Second, THEY DON'T REFUND ANY BOGUS LEADS, they only credit your account. You never get the money back onto your credit card.

Third, a high majority of the leads are bogus. Way over 50% of the leads are bogus. Typically a lead is a contractor looking for sub's, a homeowner who has somebody to install product and is just looking for materials, or a homeowner who already has material and is just looking for product. I had one that was a REALTOR looking to get pricing on home improvements for a house he was trying to market for sale. Others have bogus phone numbers and/or emails.

Once in a while you'll get a homeowner who has a friend or relative who is a contractor, and it just looking to get a few prices from the internet to price shop him before bringing in that guy in as the last bidder. Well, that's technically a valid lead, and that's the best you'll get from this website. They want $100 for a window lead in my metro area, are they on drugs ???

After using the system for a few months, I realized that I will NEVER make up the credits. The percent of leads that are bogus and get credited will always outnumber the good leads. So the credits just keep mounting, and will never be eaten up. Meanwhile, money never comes back on your credit card. Before you know it, you are $1000 in the hole.

Their accounting system is a nightmare, and it is very difficult to figure out which leads have been credited.

What is most annoying is that they don't return calls. Brandon Estep is the nicest guy when you are setting up the account, but once things go wrong and you have serious problems, he just doesn't return calls.

Well, I found out they are in Oregon, so I know which attorney general to file with.
