Retriever Towing This Company Re-Victimized A Victim Of Domestic Violence Portland Oregon

According to numerous media sources, this company snatched the car of a victim of domestic violence who had fled from abuse--who literally had blood running down her face and was making a report to a police officer. Retriever made the victim pay a "drop fee" to get the car back, despite the pleas of the police officer to just let this one go.

Later, one of their managers tried to justify the incident. Even later, the company was stung by bad publicity and refunded the drop fee, plus made a $500 donation (oooh, stunning) to a local charity.

Citizens in Portland are up in arms over this incident. There is talk of a protest march in January, and there is also talk of refusing to do business with any company that hires retriever towing. This is hardly the first time something has happened with this company. This company is the scum of the earth and everything possible should be done, within the law, to make sure they go out of business in the very near future.
