Not trusting the "free trial" sample of Revitol for $5.99 shipping I did read their website's Terms & Conditions thoroughly. Nowhere in either the ordering process or their Terms & Conditions did it say my order would constitute any further charges or shipments, so I authorized that $5.99 charge only.
I did receive the product in a timely fashion, and although it is NOT the miracle face cream it pretends to be, it is a perfectly fine cream. Again not trusting this company (I only ordered because of the supposed Dr. Oz endorsement) I called the company the day after I ordered and instructed them to remove my phone number (I received 2 telemarketing sales calls from them within 8 hours of purchase) and my email address from any marketing lists they may have sold it to, and to not send me anything else.
However, a couple weeks later I received a charge on my debit card for $85.94 from "Beauty Outlet" which I found out was this Revitol company when I called the number on my online bank statement. Of course no one I spoke to could be understood; despite me calling the U.S. number everyone I talked to barely spoke broken English.
I was informed that by purchasing the free trial I was automatically enrolled in ongoing deliveries of the Revitol cream. I was also told that they would not reverse the charge unless I returned whatever they had already supposedly shipped. I explained to them that they had committed fraud, that nowhere discernable on their website did it tell me my "free" sample would automatically start more shipments and create more charges, and they needed to clean up their business practices.
After several phone calls I did get them to provide me a confirmation number (again supposedly) confirming they had removed my debit card from their system and had cancelled my account. I told them I would refuse receipt of any product they sent me, and since they refused to take the charge off my debit card I've opened a dispute with my bank to have the charge reversed, and my bank has put a stop payment on the company so they can no longer charge my card.
However this ends for me personally, I highly recommend everyone stays away from this company - it did not take 20 years off my face like it claims of course, but even worse they use the fraudulent sales tactics I thought we had made illegal - bait and switch, hidden/undisclosed extra purchases and such.
