We used to buy from Rhinomart for about a year and half, never had a problem. Last order was placed on November 24th, 2010. Before placing an order I contacted Rhinomart because the item I was interested in was listed as "out of stock". I got a replay from Brain, who said that the item is in stock and I could proceed with ordering. Later I received another email asking to pay clearance fee and another email saying that the item is out of stock. The same person replied the following: "I got your voicemail and the email. Im not sure why you got an out of stock notification it is in stock. Please pay the clearance fee and we will process your order."

On December 7th the status of my order was updated to "back order" with the following note "I apologize but this item is on back order. A store credit has been issued to you to remedy this situation." Therefore when I was logging in into my account I could see that I had a store credit for the amount of my last order.

By the end of January the item I was ordering was still out of stock. I requested a refund. On February 10th, 2011, the status of my order was updated to "refund" and my store credit was changed to 0. But I have never received the money. I called many times, left numerous messages, sent many emails. When I was able to reach a live person, they never were able to help me and they transferred me to another person who didn't pick up a phone and I had to leave a message.

I wasn't worried too much, since I used to buy from this company in the past, I thought it was just one big misunderstanding. But with each attempt to resolve it, I was loosing my confidence. In the past three days I was not able to reach a single live person, every time I called I would get answering machine. Customer service message box is full, so I am not able to leave a message there. I started searching internet regarding this company, and found many messages posted on different websites (including ripoffreport.com) from people who had the same negative experience with Rhinomart: they purchased something from Rhinomat, received a note, that an item/items were out of stock, requested a refund and never received one.

Please be aware. Even if you never had a problem with this company in the past.
