I called a gold firm out of Austin Texas to get a quote on gold Swiss francs and the price at time was $270 per coin, my desire was to purchase $2500 worth.  I knew of the advertisement of Rosland Capital whereas they would beat any price quoted from any firm on gold; therefore, I decided to call them and get a quote for the same gold franc.

I called a salesmen at Rosland by the name of "Edward" and he said he could beat the Austin gold dealers price. He said he would sell me 12 Swiss francs for $2500. and also waive any shipping costs. I believed this was a very good deal so I told Edward that I would federal express him a check for $2500 which was to arrive the next day.  He said upon receipt of the check he would make the confirmation of the order and then send the order out. I agreed to this.

I called the next day and Edward seemed very busy with other calls and he said he would get back to me. I called again because I did not desire to miss the confirmation call since I had a doctors appointment the same day, I wanted to take care of this transaction. Edward did call me back, but he said he did not have any Swiss francs but would send me an Austrian gold coin instead. I asked him if it would contain the same gold content and he said yes, the exact gold content.  I was a little apprehensive about this, so I went on the internet to find the Austrian coin and the content was .11 and the Swiss franc was .187, and pricing this out made a huge difference of about $100 per coin. I confronted Edward about this huge price difference and he countered that he would order Swiss francs for me and get back to me about them.  He called me back and said that he could get the coins for $270. which was the exact price of the Austin dealer. I commented to him that this really is a scam, that Rosland Capital does not beat the price, but rather tries to dupe their buyers with other coins with huge value differences. I told him I would cancel my check, not ever do business with Rosland Capital and would report this transacrion to the review board, which is the contents of this complaint.  I hope nobody else encounters this ripoff, at least I was able to check out the prices before going ahead with this scam ripoff.
