Rover.com Failed to honor paying me for items that were broken in my home due to their pet house sitter I hired Seattle 2101 4th Ave.

I hired one of their "so called" vetted pet/house sitters for a long weekend (Friday to a Monday morning).  When I returned home to my dismay, there were several doors that were broken as well as jewelry missing.

I immediately filed a police report and in turn called rover.com.  They advised to send them photo (which I did at last 10 pictures of the damage of the doors, along with the items of jewelry that I purchased via paypal/ebay).  The conversation and the backup along with the 10 jpeg photos were submitted to them in a timely manner.

They refused payment of any items (jewelry totallying approx $5000 and doors to be bought and reinstalled that were damanged approx. $1600).

As is the case, that I can understand the theft portion not being reimbursed as that would fall into criminal category and am following the investigation with a BSO Sherrif here in Florida, they refused even though I provided CLEAR AND VALID PROOF through first hand pictures when I had gotten home of the the door damage.

Pathetic that such a company with a 1 mil liability payout does not uphold their bargain when it comes to a customers complaint.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I would upload the photos and conversation if I could here, but it will not allow me to.

Two good things came of it:

1.  I will NEVER USE ROVER AGAIN

2.  i INSTALLED A COMPLETE CAMERA SECURITY SYSTEM THROUGHOUGHT MY HOUSE AS i WILL NEVER BECOME A VICTIM AGAIN.

Shameful and disgrace of a company to not reimburse a CLEAR photographed damage to property totally at best $1,600.00. Go to Agie's list or use a referral from a shelter ... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
