My experiences were shared by every passenger I had spoken too, including RCCL diamond members on the Anthem of the Seas 2/13 sailing from Bayonne, NJ.
I have taken several cruises and most with RCCL but this by far was the worst. RCCL Corporate rushed this ship back out to sea (because of the money) and did not clean it up properly. The crew was visibly shaken and not prepared to head out again after heading directly into a storm during the 2/6/16 sailing.
2.13.16 embarkation went well but that is the credit to the NJ port of call staff not associated with RCCL.
RCCL refused to move cruise date after the previous week's horror which was well publicized in the media. Bottom line, The Anthem of the Seas was not ready to sail in terms of things ready for new guests. Not fair to wait so long to be cleared by the Coast Guard.
Nearly all elevators had issues with some being out of service for the duration of the cruise. Handicapped people had trouble getting around which is irresponsible.
Shattered glass all over the solarium, which was not cleaned up prior to sailing.
Food poisoning from horrid meals.
Inexperienced cruise staff, many being well below 25 years old who did not properly monitor children during roller skating and bumper cars.
Inept restaurant staff and not accommodating to making reservations at restaurants for dynamic dining.
Unsanitary bathrooms in public areas (not in cabins).
Fights broke out during a show, causing it to be halted and starting it again late.
Staff was not accommodating as in previous cruises on other royal ships. Not once in wind jammer would staff get a chair or cup of coffee for a guest. Nasty staff members in windjammer, like you are doing them a favor.
Ship not big enough for 4100 guests.
All kids went to adult pool because of frigid temperature out of NJ. That is ok when weather bad. For your crew to literally throw families out, that is disgusting and negligent.
Not enough chairs for guests.
Inoperable robotic arm. Up and down is not enough and not as advertised.
Hours for children center are horrible, and not enough time for parents to plan. Too early. A minute late to pick up they charge. Kids all over very bored.
As a paying customer, this was the worst cruise I have ever taken with your brand. Only positive were the counselors in the Adventure Ocean Club for kids and getting off the Anthem of the Seas at ports.
