All Beware:


My wife and I upgraded a membership at Royal Holiday a month ago. We upgraded to receive Acceleration and Accumulation of our points. We worked a deal out to receive 90,000 points with no fees. When we asked our sweet rep. Paulina (a sale rep for Royal Holiday at Los Tules Puerto Vallarta) why it wasnt in the paperwork she said I have entered it into the system already. We asked again that we would not pay fees on these 90,000 points she said, we would be able to choose any of our bonus certificates up to 90,000 all together and they would cost nothing to activate, she said again I entered it in to the system and transferred last years 400 point to this year. (She did do that) Other things we were promised were long weekend use at 7-day only locations and no all-inclusive fees at all inclusive. All of which were not true when we reserved trip. This company is fragilent and makes promises it does not keep. We have talked to many people at Royal about this (below). It has was 3 weeks on the phone with them. In the end they said they would give us $624 worth of certificates paid for which is 45,000 points of the dirt-cheap certificates. We declined the 624 off, because it was in insult to take less than 1/5 of the cost of what we were promised. We will not settle for less than what we were promised. I think for all the stressful phone calls and dealing with very rude people (such as Rosa Maria Valdez) We should get 10,000 or 20,000 more.  I hate to imagine all the people who dont have the time or energy to deal with Royal for 3 weeks to even get a 1/5 what they were promised. I will get the word out about Royal Holiday as I feel they have cheated us, and would like to help others not be cheated.

I also had a horrible experience with them. I've purchased my timeshare 3 years ago, and it's been impossible to get out. I was pressured to sign a contract, and i was also scammed, they never did what they promised. We must do whatever it's in our hands to put finish to those thieves!!! I was looking for some information about this resort and all their scam tactics, and i've found these articles that have a lot of info about them, take a look:
