Rumson Bolling & Associates paid this company thousands of dollars to collect a company debt Sherman Oaks, California

This company is a scam and a rip-off.  I paid thousands of dollars to Rumson Bolling to collect a debt for RC's Plumbing & HVAC, LLC and got nothing in return.  First few contacts from 2 different representatives are very pushy, it won't cost us anything unless debt is paid.  Give me one account and I guarantee that I will have payment for your company in less 30-45 days.  I was very skeptical but after a couple of calls every day for a week I gave them an uncollected account. 
After the debt information is given they call back and the customer has assets that they can collect but it costs money for the investigation and serving of papers.  They would really hate for us not to proceed on this account since they guarantee collection.  After payment is sent a few days pass and then they call back and need more money for legal fees. 
I was hesitant about sending more so they tell me that they can't do anything else without additional payment so the company will split the fee with me and it will be deducted from the collected amount.  The customer has the assets and if collection is dropped now we lose the $1500 already paid since they can't proceed any further without the additional payment.  Total paid to them is $2498. 

 I waited the 45 days and then called and was told the account had been sent to the legal department to file a lawsuit.  Only 1 additional time was I able to reach someone at this company and I was told to call back in 30 days.  Now all the numbers and contacts that I have are disconnected or a busy signal.
